It’s raining Glitter!
While debating on whether or not I should update on the weekdays, my floor answered the question for me! How, you ask?
At first I thought they were nails. I was like “Were they there before?”

On closer inspection, they are sequins. Oops.
So small, so cute!!!! But my dad doesn’t like it one bit!
Hello world!
Hello everybody… My online name is Akina Suzuki, so please feel free to call me Akina-chan or whatever.
I recently got new batteries for my digital camera, and I felt like I should use it more. (Or else risk getting it re-confiscated by my dad, who thinks that all this technology is unnecessary for me).
So, I thought I would post them on a blog so my mom doesn’t think my life is an endless void. If you guys are reading this, hi Mom, hi Dad!

So yes. I want to introduce my first set of pictures with a title: My mom’s pig collection.

My mom collects pig merchandise. Hey, we all have a collection of something, so why not pigs? This set is the brunt of it. They live on my piano, and they seem quite happy. From the right: A really soft piggy that oinks when you squeeze its butt. xD Next one is a puppet (the one with its mouth open wiiiide) If you turn it on, it oinks out a song when you clamp its mouth together. The little ones in front of those two are McDonalds toys from a Kid’s Meal. I think they are Babes from Charlotte’s Web. Something like that. More on the last 4 in the next picture.

The big one is Momma piggy. The little ones are her children. These baby piggies litterally squish into Momma piggy’s ‘womb’ that is creatively held together with a zipper. The little piggies themselves make tiny squeak noises when you squish the right places. How cute!

This here pig on the ground is porcelain, I think. In my old house, it lived in a little niche on the wall. It must feel better to be on the ground again!!

Another two porcelain pigs. I think the one on the right goes with the one from the last picture. The other fat piggy looks quite cute… at first.

See what I mean? This pig may look happy, but it is U-G-L-Y!!!!! Sorry piggy, you look as demented as a messed-up Buddha!

Ah, Babe. Before you ran out of batteries, I loved pressing the button and hearing you say something both ridiculous and totally hilarious. Good times. This pig is actually made out of plastic and no fun whatsoever. Its supposed to be a bank. Get it? Piggy Bank?

This is a piggy pillow! Supersoft, and cuddly to boot, even though it belongs to my mom, I kidnapped it to sleep on! Its from Burlington Coat Factory, and I spotted this gem just in the nick of time–there were no more of them!
Actually, I mean there were no more PIG pillows. I myself have a Horsey pillow that is totally separate from this photo collection–I just include it to prove my point, ya’know?

Mine just may be cuter, right? I actually had to ‘preform surgery’ on my pillow because the company didn’t sew on its head completely. Oops! But it is hardly noticeable….
My brother has also a monkey pillow with the same design, but it isn’t nearly as cute as mine or my mom’s. Ha!
So that ends the photo collection of my Mom’s pigs and my Horse pillow.
EDIT: (Like, an hour later… lol) I found some really small figurines that belong here!!!! Some of them are really cute! I just hope you can see it. Formatting went whacky when I changed themes. I really like this theme though, so I’m just leaving out captions. Enjoy the pictures!
